Great In My Mug. Nice to see Colins new place and wish him all the best.

I was thinking of ordering some espresso blends from hasbean so I have to say this comes at a very convenient time for me. I am an aspiring home roaster, but I do have some problems with the dark espresso roasts. Do you have any tips for nailing the dark roasts as a home roaster ?

Would have loved to have made it down yesterday and seen it in the flesh, but great to see Colin enjoying his new venture. Hope you gave him a few pointers on freestyle latte art while you where there Steve :) .
The concept of seasonal blends sounds very appealing and i love the no nonsense menu!!
I must pre-warn you though, if that is Cachoeira i see on the bottom line, then i may need to be surgically removed at closing time.

Another good IMM, and all the best to Colin with the new shop!

Definitely enjoying the Frosty blend, although slightly inconsistent technique means I’m not getting a great cup every time (although it’s definitely getting better!).

Also loved the Yirgacheffe last week in the Chemex, and have hung on to some to do a proper cupping as per the last episode.

Cool little coffee shop for an awesome city! And that blend sounds amazing! When time again allows me a visit to Ireland, I will definitely look this place up :)

Beautifully balanced espresso. Must book a trip to Dublin ;-)

Just love the cups with the red line at the bottom. Where can I buy them?

Great espresso blend. Have you decided on the seasonal names or are we going for a competition?

Think I found the cups… From Intelligentia right? Out of stock though =(

Had a really great day at 3FE last Sunday and was lucky enough meet Steve, Colin, David, Oda and lots of other lovely coffee folk. The Frosty blend was indeed singing in the hands of 3 top baristas and the 2 caps I had were top drawer. It was going out the door that fast, it was in danger of selling out!

Dublin isn’t exactly down the road from Belfast, but for me the trip is well worth it to get what is now arguably the best coffee in Ireland. Fantastic job guys, can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next 3FE seasonal blend :)

It is intended as an expresso blend and I don’t have an expresso machine. In the Chemex, the Aeropress and in the Cona in appeared to me to be just good coffee. It hadn’t any great complexity that I could discover, which disappointed me, as I felt that that had more to do with how I was brewing the cup.

It is full bodied, has depth and it is a great drink but it is not perhaps memorable.
