I was interested to hear Colin Harmon say that he has customers who will order and drink a cappuccino and then have an espresso just to smell and taste without drinking it.

So this time I tried it but the other way round and made two espressos which I tasted before making them into cappuccinos. Steve knows that I don’t like or ever drink black coffee but this time I really tried to taste what Steve tastes and it was quite a revelation and I really thought yes there are cranberries here. I was glad to get into the cappuccino but the taste seemed to carry forward and I really enjoyed this coffee with its acidity.

I love this coffee, the best in a long time !! Very very nice red fruit.
Good idea with the IMM audio version. Fine in the car on the way to work :)

Dear Stephen,
Just opened our Nicaraguan coffee and enjoying it immensly. This subscription is proving to be a blast. I’ll have to open a cafe pretty soon. Cheers.

It’s exciting to be part of an international endeavour! And good Perky P mention – I’ll find an excuse to go to York eventually ;)

The audio Tamper Tantrum was great – bit odd in parts without picture to match to sounds, but great ;)

Like this coffee – especially in the ibrik actually, really one of the best coffees for ibrik that we’ve had in quite a while, in my opinion (although I really love fruity coffees in the ibrik, which I’m not convinced is really traditional :P ).

A really good IMM and hope you both had a good weekend away.

Not sure about this one. Didn’t work as an espresso – very very acidic-but flavours came alive as a ristretto.

Better brewed but not one I would shout about. Nice to try but would not buy. Managed 6 bags of Frosty and also ordered more of the Columbian. Maybe a bit spoilt by the last couple of weeks.

Just not mad keen on the really fruity ones

Dear Stephen,
Any tips on how to keep my wonderful coffees (unground) for awhile. They are presently lined up in a somewhat chilly cupboard in their original bags waiting to be chosen like puppies at the pound.
Cheerfully stimulated and sincere,
Wendy

Hi Steve,
Liked this coffee as an espresso, bright and fruity. Thought it was a bit lost in a latte.
Unbelievable bean size!

I say dear Bloggers!!

Smiley face on a bandana? Turn up under the cloak of night at a farmers field near the M6? Dubious dancing?
ACIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID.
Not this dapper gent. Not one for law-breaking.
Marvellous brew though. Better in the Chemex than in ones dear Silvia.

Cranberries? Do you have to let it linger? Do you have to, do you have to? Do you have to let it linger?
